Noelle is a nervous system informed therapist. She is trained to work with athletes and couples her approach with her foundational work that includes regulating the nervous system for optimal health and performance.
Life after Sport This pertains to high school seniors, athletes who have been injured, and adults finding their way after life as an athlete. The distress from this life transition can lead to feelings of shame, guilt, inappropriate competitiveness, and most importantly, grief.
We live in a society that glamorizes sports. If you have been impacted by this in any way, you most likely have had challenges understanding your identity after being an athlete. I work with clients to attend to barriers that may be keeping them from knowing their true identity apart from athletics and adapting behaviors that may be hindering them from the life they want. Graduating Seniors to College Athletics You are no longer the captain of your team, maybe you don't know if or when you will be on the starting line up again, maybe you aren't the best anymore. College athletics is a real sacrifice but also a tremendous gift. It would be an honor to support you as you journey through the hefty transition and become the best athlete you can be at some of the highest levels of competition.
Sports does not have to dominate your life, you can still perform at your best and maintain a sense of self throughout the process.
